Changing mail protocol settings

    A mail protocol is a set of rules for sending or receiving mail over a network. The AppleShare IP mail server supports SMTP, POP, IMAP, PASS, FINGER, and Notify MailTM protocols.

    To change the protocol settings:
    • Use the Protocols panel of the Advanced Mail Server Settings window.
